IVAS-IVSC Business Valuation Conference 2017

The regional thought - leadership conference for Business Valuation

Business Valuation is gaining prominence with the increase in M&A activities in the region and Singapore’s growth as an international centre for litigation proceedings and arbitration. The demand for Business Valuation as a valued skill set is also growing rapidly together with the rising importance of fair value measurement in financial reporting and intellectual property in business.

The IVAS-IVSC Business Valuation Conference will bring together a prominent line-up of speakers from the United Kingdom and the Asia Pacific, including Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Law and Finance, Ms Indranee Rajah, as guest of honour; and Sir David Tweedie, Chairman of the International Valuation Standards Council as keynote speaker. They will discuss key trends and developments in Business Valuation with an expected turn-out of more than 300 Business Valuation professionals from the region.

The Singapore Accountancy Commission set up IVAS, or the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore in 2013 to develop Singapore into a Centre of Excellence for Business Valuation. IVAS is a member of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), the global standard setter for valuation. Together, they are bringing the IVAS-IVSC Business Valuation Conference 2017 to Business Valuation professionals from Singapore and the Asia Pacific region to share knowledge and experience, and possibly, build friendships for mutually beneficial collaborations.
