VALUATION SERVICES

Lim & Young provides a suite of cost effective valuation services. Each report is custom-built for our client in relation to their business activities, valuation objective and target audience. Valuation will be performed taking guidance from the International Valuation Standards (IVS) administered by the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) as well as The International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation (IPEV) guidelines administered by the IPEV Board.

For Singapore Fund Management Companies (LFMCs & RFMCs) covered under the Securities and Futures Act (CAP.289 - S.4.1.2), Lim & Young will assist FMCs in fulfilling the requirement of independent asset valuation for the purpose of reporting and external audit. Independent valuations ensure compliance with fair value accounting standards and regulatory requirements as well as align the interests of fund management firms and their investors

For Hong Kong Type-9 Asset Management Companies defined in schedule 5 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (CAP.571), Lim & Young will assist Asset Managers in fulfilling the FMCC S.5.3.1 requirement of proper and independent asset valuation.
